This is the final chapter of your transformation — where we take everything you've achieved through weight loss and give your body the contours you've earned. Body contouring surgery removes excess skin, tightens underlying tissue, and sculpts your silhouette so it finally matches how you feel inside.
Our Body Contouring Procedures
Every patient's body is different, and we tailor our surgical plan to your unique anatomy, goals, and lifestyle. Here are the procedures we offer for post-weight-loss transformation:
Circumferential Body Lift (Belt Lipectomy)
The gold standard for massive weight loss patients. This procedure addresses the entire trunk — abdomen, flanks, back, and buttocks — in a single operation. We remove the excess skin circumferentially (360°), tighten the abdominal wall, and lift the buttocks for a dramatic, total-body transformation.
Best for: Patients who have lost 80+ pounds with significant excess skin around the entire trunk
Abdominoplasty (Tummy Tuck)
Our most requested procedure for weight loss patients. A full tummy tuck removes the hanging skin apron, repairs separated abdominal muscles (diastasis recti), and creates a flat, toned midsection. We use a technique that preserves natural contours and places the scar low in the bikini line.
Best for: Patients with primary concerns in the abdominal area, often combined with liposuction for refinement
Brachioplasty (Arm Lift)
Removes excess skin and fat from the upper arms — eliminating "bat wings" and restoring a toned, defined arm contour. Incisions are placed along the inner arm where they're least visible. Many patients tell us this single procedure transforms their confidence in sleeveless clothing.
Best for: Patients with hanging upper arm skin that doesn't respond to exercise
Thigh Lift (Medial & Lateral)
Addresses inner thigh laxity (medial thigh lift) and outer thigh/buttock drooping (lateral thigh lift). This eliminates chafing, improves comfort, and creates smooth, proportionate leg contours. Can be performed as a standalone procedure or combined with a body lift.
Best for: Patients with significant inner thigh skin excess causing discomfort or self-consciousness
Breast Lift (Mastopexy) ± Augmentation
Weight loss often causes significant breast deflation and sagging. A breast lift reshapes and elevates the breast tissue, and can be combined with implants or fat transfer to restore lost volume. The result is a youthful, proportionate breast shape.
Best for: Women experiencing breast deflation, significant ptosis (drooping), or asymmetry after weight loss
Back Lift (Upper Body Lift)
Removes rolls of excess skin across the upper and lower back, smoothing the contour from the bra line to the waist. Often combined with a body lift for comprehensive trunk contouring.
Best for: Patients with back rolls that are visible through clothing and resistant to exercise
Facelift & Neck Lift
For patients experiencing facial aging after weight loss — jowling, neck laxity, hollow cheeks ("Ozempic face"). Combines skin tightening with fat transfer to restore youthful volume and create natural-looking rejuvenation.
Best for: GLP-1 medication users experiencing facial volume loss and laxity
Awake Liposuction
Fine-tune your contours with targeted fat removal under local anaesthesia. You stay awake and comfortable while we sculpt problem areas — flanks, inner thighs, arms, chin. Often used as a complementary procedure during staged body contouring.
Best for: Localised fat deposits with decent skin quality, or as a finishing touch after major contouring
Staged vs. Combined Procedures
Many patients need more than one procedure. We work with you to determine whether a combined approach (multiple procedures in one session) or a staged approach (separate operations spaced 3–6 months apart) is more appropriate. Factors include:
- Overall health and BMI — Safer anaesthesia time limits for combined procedures
- Areas of concern — Some procedures pair well together (tummy tuck + breast lift), while others are best staged
- Recovery logistics — Work schedule, childcare, support at home
- Budget — Combining procedures can reduce total cost compared to separate operations
When Are You Ready for Surgery?
We generally recommend that patients:
- Have maintained a stable weight for 3–6 months
- Have a BMI under 32 (ideally under 30) for optimal safety and results
- Are in good overall health — no uncontrolled diabetes, heart disease, or blood clotting disorders
- Are non-smokers (or have quit at least 6 weeks before surgery)
- Have realistic expectations about outcomes, scars, and recovery
Your Consultation
During your consultation, Dr. Jaberi will assess your skin quality, areas of concern, and overall health to create a personalised surgical plan. We'll discuss which procedures will give you the most impactful results, the best sequence if staging is needed, and what your recovery will look like.
